During a time of worship I saw
people begin to step into a river to frolic and play. As the water grew
deeper and deeper, it began to leap and dance with great power and
force. I looked to the direction from where the water flowed and saw a
huge waterfall like Niagara Falls. The people who were in the river
began to move closer and closer to the falls. They continued to frolic
in the water as the power and intensity grew.
The scene changed and I saw
people standing in a place where everything seemed dry. It was dusty and
everything was the same in color, tan to brown, everything was still.
There was no movement and I didn’t see anything that was green.
I then saw a flood of water
coming. Many people were standing as the water rolled by, but there were
others tossed about, struggling against the flood. The people who were
standing were not moved by the water and were able to remain standing no
matter how deep the water became. There were houses, cars, buildings and
all kinds of things swept away in the flood. It was as though the water
and the stuff were moving, but not the people, even the ones struggling
were not gaining anything from their efforts. The people who were
struggling in the water were overwhelmed, frightened, reaching and
grasping for something to hold onto.
I saw the water from the
perspective of the people who were standing and it was clear, cool, and
refreshing. The people that were struggling in the water were unable to
see, as if blind. The people who were standing began to reach out and
pull the struggling people to safety, helping them until they had the
ability to stand.
There is coming a great
outpouring of the Word of the Lord with many signs and wonders. This
flood will not move those who have been renewed but having done all will
stand on the solid rock, Jesus, being refreshed. Those rooted in Him
will be in position to rescue those who have been swept up on this
flood. Many who have a form of godliness will be over-whelmed by this
outpouring and become caught up in survival rather than being used in
the harvest. The church will come to a new awareness of the power of the
Word to save those who are perishing and begin to realize we have the
power to speak forth life to the lost, saving them from what is to come.
Many things will be swept away
or no longer be of importance in the mighty move of the Spirit that is
coming. Many will see all the things they have placed their trust or
security in swept away as the truth of His Word is proclaimed. The
church will begin to move in the power and demonstration of God’s love
and mercy towards those who are lost. There will be a new compassion, a
mandate to enable those who are struggling to come to see the truth so
they may stand.
Every one then who hears these
words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house
upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds
blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been
founded on the rock. And every one who hears these words of mine and
does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the
sand; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and
beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.
Matt. 7:24-27
And even if our gospel is
veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case, the
god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them
from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the
likeness of God. II Cor.4:4
But you, beloved, build
yourselves up on your most holy faith; pray in the Holy Spirit; keep
yourselves in the love of God; wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus
Christ unto eternal life. And convince some, who doubt; save some, by
snatching them out of the fire; on some have mercy with fear, hating
even the garment spotted by the flesh. Jude 1:20-23
