It doesn’t matter where we’ve
came from; the important thing is we're on the journey to where we're
going.
We may not always know where
we're going or when we're going to get there, but we know the One we
follow.
Many times, we use our faith
only when our resources run out.
Information says we know
something; authority comes from the experience of the information
becoming real in our lives.
If we don’t stand for
something, we might fall for anything.
We will never advance any
further than our commitment.
Our outward expressions and our
successes are an indication of the inner condition.
Are we going to spend our time
talking about the darkness or are we going to become a bringer of the
Light?
If we're going to run with the
big dogs, we have to be willing to get off the porch.
If we can figure out how to do
it, God will let us do it on our own.
What we believe creates the
environment for what we'll become. We usually get what our mouth talks
about.
The present good can be become
an enemy of the future. We become comfortable with the familiar and
reluctant to move forward.
If we don’t have trust, we
don’t have a real relationship. If I don’t trust you, how can I be
comfortable with you?
Offenses are deeper than people
are; they are a manifestation of an insecurity in which we feel the need
to defend ourselves.
What we see is almost always
directly related to what we expect to see. Expect the best and deal with
the rest.
Your past may be full of pain,
your present might be full of problems, but your future is full of
possibilities.
